Second Hand Doesn’t Mean Broken… But It Can Mean TLC 💜
There’s something special about giving old things a new life. Thrifted frames, for example, hold so much potential. Just because something is second-hand doesn’t mean it’s destined for the trash. With a little TLC, these overlooked treasures can become refurbished gems—perfect for showcasing art.
When I rescue thrifted frames, it’s not always love at first sight. Sometimes they need a deep cleaning to reveal their charm. Other times, they require sanding, new hardware, or a fresh coat of paint to bring them back to life. These small fixes are worth every bit of effort when you see the transformation.
I’ve recently completed a set of 18 refurbished frames, each with its own unique character, waiting to cradle some beautiful artwork. I love how these frames—each with a story of its own—will soon carry new memories as part of someone’s home or collection.
Stay tuned to see the finished pieces! Whether you’re here for the sustainability, the creativity, or just the joy of discovering something new in something old, I hope you’ll be as excited about these as I am. 👁⭐
